I write about women—women who have claimed life, who have dared, who have learned, and who have left behind lessons for us to gather like treasures. But today, I write about us. Just us.
Because deep inside, we all hold lessons of our own. Lessons we have forgotten.
Why Finding Your Happy Place Matters
Today, after a walk in the rain, I swam—just as I did when I was a child—face to the sky, water cool against my skin, rain blending with ripples around me. For a moment, I was that child again, untouched by time, simply existing in the joy of the moment. I searched for that long-ago happiness, and I found it.
Where is Your Happy Place?
And you?
Perhaps your happiness is hidden in the branches of an old tree you once climbed, the rough bark against your hands. Or in the feel of grass beneath your bare feet, damp and alive. Maybe it lingers in the scent of jasmine drifting through an open window, in the laughter of a summer afternoon, or in the simple stillness of doing nothing at all.
It’s there, waiting.
Search deep. You will find it.
Then go—go claim life.
