- Have you ever heard of the infamous Five AM Club?It seems to be everywhere these days—whether it’s a book by Robin Sharma or the mantra of success for early risers.Headlines scream, “Own your morning, elevate your life,” as if the key to success lies solely in the pre-dawn hours. But let me tell you something—I’ve lived through it all. From preschool to college, early mornings were a non-negotiable. Then came the chaos of parenthood, where 5 AM became my constant companion, from newborn cries to school drop-offs.So, by my calculations, I’ve more than earned my stripes in the Five AM Club. But here’s the thing: I’ve had enough. I’m tired of the pressure to conform to society’s idea of success, measured by how early I rise. I’m reclaiming my mornings, and my life, on my own terms.
Sure, I’ve read Robin Sharma’s book, and I’ve gleaned valuable insights from it. But I refuse to be shackled by the rigid rules of the Five AM Club.
My victory hour is not dictated by the clock but by my own internal rhythm. So, goodbye, 5 AM chaos. Hello, slow mornings and intentional starts to my day.
I’ll rise when it feels right, and my life is still elevated, thank you very much.
In the end, it’s not about the time on the clock; it’s about embracing positivity and seizing each day with purpose. So, whether it’s 5 AM or any hour that suits me, I’ll own my morning and my life, on my terms.
