My Trip to the Italian Riviera

Portofino~

I arrive in Portofino, I feel the excitement of finally reaching this stunning coastal haven.

In front of me ,the vibrant colors of the houses reflecting off the turquoise sea, with luxury yachts gently bobbing alongside charming fishing boats.

I slow down, resting in the heart of the Piazzetta with a cappuccino, just to catch up on life. I took a deep breath, and let the salt air fill my lungs, and felt the pace of life ease into something calmer, something more reflective.

l set off for Castello Brown, where the views are breathtaking as I imagined they would be—expansive, panoramic vistas of the Ligurian Sea and the town below, almost as if time had paused just for me. I let the peace of that view wash over me, knowing that this is precisely where I was meant to be.

The Abbey of San Fruttuoso, hidden in its secluded cove, was a highlight. I walked through the rugged terrain to reach this ancient monastery steeped in history and mystery. I was reminded about the Christ of the Abyss statue  beneath the water—a dive I’ll plan, but maybe leave for another visit. This time, just seeing it from above was a enough to remind me of the depth of the beauty that lies beneath the surface here.

I’ll returned to the Piazzetta, ready to relax.

The evening was spent wandering the harbor, watching the sunset paint the sky in hues of pink and orange.

Portofino’s pastel houses and sparkling waters made for a perfect day of peaceful charm and beauty. Looking forward to discovering the breathtaking landscapes of Cinque Terre.
